UNA Europa
European and international openness
UNA Europa brings together Université Paris 1 and ten other European universities for cooperation in teaching, training and research. Created in 2019 following a call from the European Commission, this alliance promotes the construction of the university of the future around 5 priority areas:
- European Studies
- Sustainable development
- Cultural heritage
- Global health
- Data Science and Artificial Intelligence
The manifeste de Una Europa summarizes the commitments and values of this inter-university alliance. It promotes the creation of a space of shared knowledge and ideals beyond borders. Una Europa aims to be relevant, independent and creative, encouraging innovation and experimentation. It embodies cultural and linguistic diversity, and aspires to shape the future through education. It has established itself as an influential player in the transformation of education with a view to building a Europe of the future.
Each year, UNA Europa launches an appeal to help doctoral students open up to Europe and the rest of the world. Relayed by EDMPS, doctoral students are encouraged to maximize their cooperation with foreign higher education establishments or research centers, if they so wish.
