The meeting between doctors and doctoral students January 2020

Dear Colleagues, Dear Doctoral Students,

The meeting between PhDs and doctoral students from the École Doctorale de Management Panthéon Sorbonne (EDMPS) took place on January 6 at Université Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne. Despite the strike that day, it attracted 30 participants. In a convivial atmosphere, participants were able to question PhDs from our doctoral school about their professional insertion, their projects and, more generally, the role of a doctorate in finding a job in both the public and private sectors.

3 doctors were present to share their experiences with us:

  •     Mr Nor Bouchetara (former EMS doctoral student, 2017), who is Professor and Pedagogical Coordinator at EBBS Business School in Bordeaux.
  •     Ms. Marion Sanglé-Ferrière (ex-doctoral fellow at ESCP, 2019), who is an ATER at the University of Cergy-Pontoise
  •     Ms Valérie Zeitoun (ex-doctor at IAE de Paris, 2016), who is Maître de Conférences at IAE de Paris and President of The Laundry (a company specializing in qualitative research and brand strategies).

In view of the interest shown by our doctoral students in this event, we have decided to hold another meeting with other PhD students in the very near future.

Yours sincerely
